Bicylce for two?

No, we're not actually going to ride the same bike at the same time! I did buy a bike today! Jeff already has a bike and we decided that we want to start riding our bikes to work. The weather is getting nicer, and our work is just down the road from where we live. Right now gas prices in Susanville are $3.59 a gallon, so this will also help us save money. I know we don't drive that far to go to work, but I figure every little bit helps! I'm looking forward to having another activity to do with Jeff as well. We've been trying to get into better shape, so hopefully this will help us with that too. Niether one of us has been on a bike in years! I got on it this afternoon, and while I could remember how to ride and keep my balance, I was having a hard time remembering how to shift gears and use the hand brakes. And I don't remember it being this physically hard!

Jeff has joked about trying to get all of our friends to join in our bike riding adventures...so watch out! We might invite you to join us one day!
