Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year. Jeff and I sure did. We are always spoiled by our loved ones this time of year.

Jeff got me a brand new camera and a stand up kitchen aide mixer. I've been wanting a mixer for years and now I finally have one! I just need to decide what to bake!

Before and After - The Living Room and Dining Room

I don't have many pictures from before we started painting. I do have some of the PURPLE paint that was supposed to be brown......

These pictures are a little dark, but I think you get the idea. I want to add a bookshelf by the fireplace and a small table under the mirror in the entry way, just so it doesn't look so bare.

Before & After - The Kitchen

The kitchen is the first thing we tackled when we got the keys to our new home. We still would like to add a new dishwasher and eventually replace the counters and sink, but that's a long time coming. I think our paint job gave it the facelift it needed.

This is the kitchen before. Notice all the cows? They were big fans of stenciling.

After: We painted the kitchen a creamy custard and spiced things up with a red wall where the oven is. It's nice because it matches all of my cookware. And, check out the curtains. They're the first thing that I've ever sewed and put on display!
