Welcome To Our Blog

Hello Family and friends! I have decided that Jeff and I are so out of touch with a lot of people in our lives, and there's just no excuse for that. So, here's the solution! I'm not exactly new to the blogging world, I have a MySpace, but I've never had a spot that is just dedicated to my thoughts or the happenings in our little life. So please stop by every now and again so you can see how Jeff and I are doing. Jeff might even jump on here from time to time.

Home Brewing part II

I'm a slacker and didn't update this when I should have. Jeff and his dad were finally able to taste the beer that they brewed right before we moved into our new house. Jeff says that it's the best batch he's made so far. I know he's looking forward to brewing a batch in our new house. Here, he has so much more room to do it. It was always too cramped in the old house to really put the stuff where he needed it. I think he's planning on doing another batch soon, so if you decide you want some, bring your dark glass bottles to the house.

Doug and Jeff's Last Gig

Last Saturday was the last day Doug and Jeff dj'ed at the casino. I always have fun when they play, but I know Jeff is glad he's done for a while. Anyways, we had a great time and we celebrated Lily's 34th birthday! I'm glad the Momma could come out and play for a little while!

Catching Up!

I haven't updated this thing in a while. We've been busy with our new dog spending time with friends.

About 6 weeks ago, Jeff and I were finally able to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I know it's was late, but we had been so busy getting our house in order that we were finding it difficult to schedule a night to enjoy each other. It sounds sad, but we really do enjoy spending our time with our friends and family. We decided to keep it low key and barbecued steaks. We did eat our wedding cake, and it tasted okay until you were done. Then it tasted like I had a freezer in my mouth! Another thing that we were able to do was have a bottle of wine that was given to us as a wedding gift from my Uncle Frank and Aunt Bonnie. They are probably the closest people we know who are true wine drinkers, and I thought the gift was lovely. They didn't' even know that the theme to our wedding was monogram, and they definitely didn't know that we were planning on a home brewed beer with a custom label as a wedding favor.

So, here's a few pictures..
